Cy Whaley Howell Bloodworth was born on and went to be with the angels on Monday, May 3, 2010, at St. Luke's West Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri. He is survived by his parents: Nathan and Melissa (Hailer) Bloodworth of East Alton, one brother: Clark Bloodworth at home, his maternal grandparents: Larry and Nora Hailer of East Alton, his paternal grandparents: Tom and Deloris Bloodworth of Bunker Hill, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents and his paternal great grandparents.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, May 10, 2010, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Private funeral services will be held at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis and will be accepted at the funeral home.
