Rozina Gardner

Rozina Kathleen Gardner, 85, died at 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Jerseyville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Jerseyville on March 11, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Lawrence & Zella (Kortkamp) Springman.

She had previously been employed as a seamstress in the garment manufacturing sector and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Surviving are a daughter & son in law, Cheryl & Bill White of Hillview; two sons & daughters in law, Gene Gardner of Jerseyville, and Larry & Eva Gardner of Brighton; a sister, Jean Walker of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, George Gardner in 1986.

Family & Friends are invited to a graveside service at the Kane Cemetery on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville is in charge of the arrangements.
