Helen Perko

Helen Marie Perko, 47, died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton. Born September 3, 1962 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Thomas Joseph and Dorothy Elizabeth (Ray) Perko. She is survived by two brothers, Thomas Michael Perko and his wife Linda of Maryville, and Edwin Perko of Maryville. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Diane Vizemann of Granite City, other extended family, Lillian Burgess and her family of Collinsville, and a best friend John Gann and his family of St. Louis, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Beverly Farm with private burial. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
