Inza Smith

Inza Rena Smith, 92, died at 5:25 a.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born September 14, 1917, she was the daughter of Jacob Frank and Zona Orris. She married Jack C. Smith on July 11, 1932 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1988. Surviving is a sister-in-law, Winifred Orris of Ballwin, MO, and a nephew, Larry Orris and his wife Deanne of Ballwin, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Carolyn J. Davis and a brother, Bernard Orris. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey. Reverend Steve Rice will officiate. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Village. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.
