Rose Sadich

Rose Sadich, 90, passed away at 11:04 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at VIP Manor in Wood River.
Born Feb. 18, 1919 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Mike and Mary (Kovac) Sadich.
A member of the Daughters of Isabella, she worked for Olin Corp. as an operator for 40 years, retiring in 1981.
Survivors include a brother, Stanley Sadich of Columbia, Mo.; a sister and her husband, Virginia and Robert Ryan of S. Fulton, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Katherine Sadich of Wood River; and 22 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary and George Dopuch, Lillie and Fritz Meyer, Christina Sadich and Theresa Sadich; and two brothers and a sister-in-law, Nick Sadich, and Sam and Emma Sadich.
Visitation will be Wednesday at Holy Angel Catholic Church in Wood River from 10 a.m. until time of a funeral mass at 11 a.m. Father James Flach will be celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alton.
Memorials may be made to the church.
