Delbert Jennings

Delbert L. Jennings Jr., 43, formerly of Alton and Edwardsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at his residence. He was born on July 30, 1966 in Alton, Illinois the son of Delbert L. and Delores (Cathorall) Jennings Sr. Survivors include his father Delbert L. Jennings Sr. of Lehigh Acres, Florida, his mother Delores Jennings of Lehigh Acres, Florida, two daughters: Brittanie Jennings and Tiffanie Jennings both of Lehigh Acres, Florida, one brother: Darrin Jennings of Mobile, Alabama, his paternal grandmother: June Stumpe of Alton, Illinois, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and his companion: Christi Bausinger.

He was a security guard. He formerly attended the Bethalto Presbyterian Church. He was a 1984 graduate of Edwardsville Senior High School. He was active in the Salvation Army.

He was preceded in death by one brother: Dwayne Jennings, his maternal grandparents: Harold and Emma Cathorall, and his paternal grandfather: Elmer Jennings.

Visitation will be from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Joel Lohr will officiate. Burial will follow at Fosterburg Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Bethalto Presbyterian Church or the American Heart Association.
