Anita Brown

Anita L. Brown, 82, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Robings Manor in Brighton.

Born April 17, 1927 in the Philippines, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Reyes. She was a nursing assistant for St. Joseph Hospital in Alton and a member of the First Baptist Church in Alton. On April 2, 1956 she married James E. Brown.
He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Graveside services and burial will be at Prospect Cemetery in Rockmart, Georgia.
