Donald Phillips

Donald Leroy Phillips, Jr., 48, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his home.

Born April 21, 1967, son of Donald Leroy Phillips Sr. of Alton and the late Rita Faye (Summers) Phillips.

Donnie served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Wells Fargo as a Technical Project Coordinator since 2001.  He loved being with his family, music, football, poker and watching Judge Judy.  He was affectionately known for his stubborn nature.

Survivors include: 2 daughters, Stephanie & Summer Phillips of East Alton, a brother, Tim (Melissa) Phillips of East Alton, 2 sisters, Tammy (Michael Vonburg) Phillips of Alton and Rebecca Phillips of Cottage Hills and his former wife and friend, Lisa Phillips.

Memorial visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sun. Aug. 30, 2015 at Paynic Home for Funerals.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the benefit of his daughters.
