Frederick L. Booker, 95, passed away 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center of Alton.
Born in Macomb on November 21, 1919, he was the son of George E. and Pearl W. (Wilson) Booker.
He a worked as a supervisor for the Olin Corporation before retiring.
On February 21, 1998 in Collinsville, he married the former Helen 'Serena' Page. She survives.
Surviving also are two sons, Bobby Garrison of Bowling Green, MO, Willie (Pebbles) Draper of Brighton; two daughters, Joann Pollard of Clarksville, TN, Sandy (David) Olmstead of Alton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Gileen Millander of Wichita, KS.
His parents; son, Jerry Garrison; and four brothers preceded in death.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River. Pastor Vincent Synkoviak will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.
