Christine Hizer

ST. LOUIS-  Christine Leigh Hizer, 54, died at 7:43 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Belleville Memorial Hospital.She was born in St. Louis on July 19, 1960, and was one of seven children born to Lewis & Geraldine (Parker) Hizer.Christine was a graduate of Rosary High School in St. Louis, and received her BS in Business from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  She resided in Houston, Texas for 22 years, where she was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Way Engineering, until her health necessitated her move back home.Surviving are her parents, Lewis & Geraldine Hizer of St. Louis, MO.; two sisters, Kathryn Rice of Brentwood, Mo., and Donna Babinec of High Ridge, Mo.; and three brothers, Lewis Hizer of Comstock Park, Mi., Herbert Hizer of St. Louis, Mo., and Andrew Hizer of Florissant, Mo.She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Ellen Hizer.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday.  Rev. Donald Stribling will officiate.Burial will be in Kane Cemetery.Memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospital.
