A U of I graduate will perform a second spacewalk to make urgent repairs to the International Space Station today.  Air Force Colonel Mike Hopkins and another astronaut are trying to fix an external cooling loop that malfunctioned.  The first spacewalk on Saturday went well and the astronauts may wrap-up repairs today.

Saturday’s walk was the first for the former Fighting Illini football captain, as he became the third Illinois graduate to perform a spacewalk for NASA.
