The federal Department of Health and Human Services will no longer consider a former Illinois monastery as a site to house some of the thousands of children that have been recently flooding U.S. borders without parents.  Republican Congressman Randy Hultgren objected to the move by the Obama administration, saying it would only take these children further from their parents in Mexico and other countries in Central America.

HHS said Monday that the Olympia Fields site will no longer be among the sites being considered.
