The Alton 175th Anniversary celebrations around town have included historical reenactments, a large celebration at the Riverfront, and a healthy dose of souvenier merchandise.  Still to come this year are a variety events including Vintage Voices, which will focus on those historic Altonians around during the time of the city's charter.  A sample of this year's celebration will be locked away for a future generation to see.
