Three people are charged in an alleged marijuana grow operation in Wood River. Officers from Wood River took part in a raid with the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System at a home in the 900 block of East Acton Avenue removing more than 30 cannabis plants, growing materials, and four guns.
The heavily armed officers were seen entering the home using a flash-grenade device, according to Wood River Police Chief Otis Steward.

52-year-old Ted D. Titsworth is charged with Unlawful Production of Cannabis and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. 40-year-old David L. Hoffman is charged with Unlawful Production of Cannabis and 3 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. 20-year-old Brittany N. Smith is charged with Unlawful Production of Cannabis.
