The Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club dates back to 1921, but this is only the second year they have presented a Christmas Concert to raise funds for the organization.  A number of local choirs will perform.   It is being held at the Ann Whitney Olin Theater in Hatheway Hall at Lewis & Clark Community College this Sunday.

Robert Hamilton, concert chairman of the Alton-Godfrey Rotary Club, says proceeds will go toward the organization's scholarship fund.

Hamilton says the scholarship program is in its 16th year, and some of the first recipients have returned to the Alton-Godfrey area and have become active in Rotary.  The concert is being held December 15 at 3pm, doors open at 2:30.  Tickets are $10 each, and available from Rotary members, at all Liberty Bank locations, Norton-Rain Insurance, Scheffel and Company, Karen Wilson State Farm Insurance, and will be available at the door.
