Lewis & Clark Community College is taking part in this year's RecycleMania competition. It is a national competition in which college campuses compete to see which institution can reduce, reuse and recycle the most on-campus waste. The competition runs through March 30.
Nate Keener, Director of Lewis and Clark's Sustainability department, says in addition to the pledge drive and “Caught Green Handed” campaign in which students caught recycling will be rewarded with a prize, they are working on a tie-in with the Olympics.

RecycleMania began in January 2001 as a challenge between Ohio University and Miami University, as a way to motivate students to recycle more.
