Saturday marks a milestone for the Heartland Quilter’s Guilt. It’s the 2014 Bi-Annual Quilt Show at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Alton. This year, the guild is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Guild member Marie Shickedanz says this year’s theme is “30 Years of Friendship.”

There will be judging of quilts, vendors, food, door prizes, and a quilt raffle. The show runs from 9am-4pm. Children under 12 are admitted free, and it’s a $5 charge for anyone over 12.
Serving the areas of Alton, Godfrey, East Alton, Wood River, Roxana, Edwardsville, Jerseyville, Brighton, Bethalto, Grafton, Granite City, Hartford, Highland, Troy, Fairview Heights, Belleville and the surrounding cities.
