The Madison County Sheriff's Office reports that two men are facing felony burglary charges following an incident on Wednesday. 18-year old Cody L. Vivod of Pontoon Beach and 20-year old Amollie J Gale III of Granite City have each been charged with a single count of felony residential burglary after the men allegedly broke into a residence in the 4000 block of Division Street in Granite City earlier this week. Vivod was taken into custody Thursday and is being held on a $100,000 bond. Gale is not in police custody at this time.
The Madison County State's Attorney's Office reports that an Alton man is facing felony burglary charges following a string of vehicle break-ins on Thursday. 20-year old Zachary J. Delay of the 260 block of Madison Avenue has been charged with 9 counts of burglary after allegedly breaking into several cars in Alton earlier this week. He is being held in the Madison County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
