The number of snow days racked up this winter has caused many school districts to lake a long look at their calendar. Public schools like the Alton and Bethalto School District are looking at the last couple of days of May to end the school year, while Marquette Catholic High School in Alton only plans to go a few days longer.
Alton School District Assistant Superintendent Kristie Baumgartner says they have already used ten emergency days this year.

Slaughter says depending upon his ability to move days around, kids will get out either May 30 or June 2.
