Another winter storm is headed toward the Riverbend. The National Weather Service reports another snowstorm will drop in and leave us with several inches of accumulation. That means area road crews are gearing up for what could be a sloppy evening rush hour. There could be anywhere from 4-6 inches of snow on the ground by Wednesday morning.
Madison County Highway Engineer Mark Gvillo says they are ready for the snow to begin.

He says the forecast models are evolving, and depending on where you live it could be all snow to the north, or a mix of snow and ice further south. The Riverbend should see falling snow by late this morning and into the afternoon.
