Your next chance to offer opinions or ask questions about the new Alton Multi-Modal Transportation Center is coming up in a few weeks. The city’s Plan Commission has scheduled a public meeting for that purpose on Tuesday, March 4 at 6:30pm in City Council Chambers. The purpose is to review and consider for approval the preliminary design.
Late last year the city secured Juneau Associates, Incorporated as the design team to take the project to the next level. Alton Mayor Brant Walker says this is another important step in the project.

The former Wadlow Golf Course on the Homer Adams Parkway is being turned into a multi-use facility, with retail and housing a part of the overall plan that ties into the new high-speed rail.
