It’s an 80’s flashback weekend as Marquette Catholic High School will present the musical Footloose tonight, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. The popular movie from 1984 was turned into a musical in 1998 and now the theater students at Marquette will try their hand at the show that features plenty of music and dancing for all ages.
Stephen Edwards is a senior at Marquette and has the lead role of Ren McCormack. He says even though he’s been dancing most of his life, it’s rewarding to put together the choreography and the script:

Senior Hannah Schmickley plays Rusty, and also serves as choreographer of the show, and says everyone is coming together at the right time:

Footloose will be on stage at Marquette tonight, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm with doors opening about 6:45. Admission at the door is $5 for adults, $3 for students ages 5 to 18, and kids four and under are free.
