A bill legalizing marijuana could be brought to the floor of the Missouri General Assembly soon. Representative Chris Kelly filed a bill last week that would allow Missourians to have up to a pound of marijuana or hashish and more than a half-gallon of hashish oil.
If passed, the law would put a 25-percent tax on marijuana sales and allow for around 400 pot stores in the state. More than 125 would be allowed in St. Louis alone.
