As the school year comes to an end, the last thing kids might want to do is go back to school in June. Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey offers an alternative to the traditional summer school with its College for Kids programs that give kids ages 4-16 chance to try something they probably wouldn’t get to try at their own schools.
Katie Haas coordinates the program and says there are dozens of classes kids can take from baking, to science experiments, to sports, to outdoor activities:

This is the 25th summer for College for Kids. For a complete listing of events, go to a link below. Classes begin the week of June 9th with different classes offered each week through the summer.
