The impact Lewis & Clark Community College has had on the community can be measured in many different ways.  Some look at the number of students who have gone on to successful careers based on the education they received at the Godfrey campus.  Others look at the increasing number of four year universities that are offering students the chance to get their bachelor's degree at the college.

Still others look at the economic impact the college has on the surrounding area.

Chapman comments

College President Dr. Dale Chapman (pictured) says many courses offered through the college are offered entirely on line, and are a product of Career Step.  Those include careers in medical coding and billing, and pharmacy technician opportunities, which are expected to grow even more with a projected 32 percent increase by 2020.
