Senior Services Plus in Alton holds its largest fundraising event of the year later today.  It's called Feed the Need and this year features the music of country music superstar John Michael Montgomery.  The money raised from the event will go to help offset the expenses of the Meals on Wheels Program that serves more than 700 seniors in the Alton area and beyond each day.

SSP spokesman Stacey Loveland says it will be a full evening of entertainment.

The event will begin with Edwardsville native Tess Boyer, a former contestant on The Voice, singing the National Anthem.  There will be food and drink on sale, but you cannot bring any in with you.  The show is at the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater at the riverfront, and tickets are available at the gate for $30 per person.  Gates open at 5pm.
