Bad weather on firearm deer-hunting weekends helped hold down the harvest in 2013.  The statewide numbers are 74,191, compared to last year's 99,546.  The season encompasses seven days over the weekends on either side of Thanksgiving weekend.  There's still plenty of time to bag a deer, though, as archery season runs through Jan. 19. There are also muzzleloader, antlerless, and chronic wasting seasons.
