Another round of snow and cold air will greet Riverbend residents this morning, and those that will have to travel should again give extra time on the roads. Area roads are snow and ice covered, with some wet patches where road crews have been present, but the wind and blowing snow will also be a factor this morning.
Temperatures will be in the teens and wind chills below zero this morning and winds could gust up to 40 miles per hour, so those traveling in more open areas should expect slow going and blowing snow. The good news is that there is not much snow on the ground, 1 or 2 inches, but before the snow there was a little rain that has now frozen causing the slick conditions.
