Charter Communications is offering refunds to customers who bought the Mayweather versus Pacquio pay-per-view fight Saturday. The refund comes after Charter customers experienced a blackout in the Riverbend and throughout the St. Louis area. Service was also interrupted in the Carolinas and Virginia areas while thousands of people tuned into what was expected to be the "fight of the century."
Customers were charged 100-dollars for the high-definition feed of the boxing match. Charter says customers need to call and request the refund if they purchased the broadcast. No word on if other customers who lost service will be offered discounts on their bills even if they did not order coverage of the fight.
