The Alton - Wood River Sportsmen's Club is making plans for what it hopes will be the premier music event in the Riverbend. On August 17, five bands will take the stage for the inaugural Coors Light- RE/MAX Express Music Fest. There will be a midway with a number of vendors, but there will be no carnival. Tickets will be on sale in advance and also the day of the show. Sportsmen's Club President Brad Beck says this event will replace the traditional Sports Fest.
Headlining that evening will be Adam D. Tucker (pictured) with a Tim McGraw Tribute. He says parking is a concern, so they are hoping to strike a deal with Lewis & Clark Community College to run shuttle bus service that day. You can get ticket information here:
