While some will continue to form opinions straight down party lines, the chairman of the Madison County Democratic Party thinks an even next month can be of benefit to all. Vice President Joe Biden will be in Alton May 13th stumping for Senator Dick Durbin and other Democrats, and Allan Napp says no matter what your political position, having the Vice President in town is important in many ways.
One of them, Napp says, is to dispel the myth that elected officials as a whole don’t care about the average citizen.

Tickets to see Biden reportedly range from $1,000 to attend a reception held at home of John and Jayne Simmons to $35,000 per couple to co-chair the dinner and that includes a photo opp.
