The Alton Symphony Orchestra will host its first concert of its 71st season on Saturday, October 17th in Godfrey.  The concert will pay tribute to orchestras of years past as it performs “Music of the Dance.”  It is a concert that organizers hope will appeal to a variety of audiences.

The concert begins at 7pm Saturday at the Hatheway Cultural Center at Lewis & Clark Community College.  Tickets for the show are $10 per person, $5 for seniors 62 and over, and students get in free.
