An Alton man has been sentenced to 65 months in prison and three years supervised release after pleading guilty in May to a firearm offense. 34 year old Jared R. Henry admitted to possessing a weapon when police searched a home in October 2012 after receiving a tip about possible drug activity. Henry was a previously convicted felon at the time of his arrest.
Henry was arrested at a home in Alton after police received a tip about possible drug activity at the residence. Authorities took Henry into custody at the time and also found five different firearms following a search of the home.
