The Encounter Youth Choir will sing at SSPP Church in Alton on April 23 at 6pm! The high school singing group is celebrating its 45th season and will perform at several churches in Alton, Godfrey, Highland and Jerseyville.
This year, the students will sing “At the Cross (Love Ran Red)” by Bradley Knight which celebrates the Resurrection of Christ. Death has died, love has won! The worship service is free for all ages and lasts a little over an hour. A free will offering will be taken up during the service to support the ministry.
Encounter is based at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Alton and is made up of 85 students from six area high schools and nearly 30 local Christian churches. Please invite your family, friends and neighbors to attend this joyful experience of song!
