The community is invited to attend an Alzheimer's education program, "Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters." This event will be held on Sunday, April 19 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 21 Circle Dr., Cottage Hills, IL. The doors will open at 12:30 PM for light refreshments; desserts and drinks provided. The program will begin at 1:00 PM. Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association will present the program and share information about resources available to help families and caregivers impacted by this disease.
In addition, there will be an opportunity to learn about the Alzheimer's Association's "Faith Initiative"...a training program designed for clergy, parish nurses, church leaders and members who may come in contact with individuals with Alzheimer's and their family.
