Saturday, June 9, 2012 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The event is co-sponsored by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Fair goers will learn knot tying, fish identification, fish cleaning, casting, and many other skills, plus lots of free gifts and prizes and seminars at the 4,000 gallon aquarium all day long.
There is no charge to attend the fair or catch a fish. No license or fishing gear is needed.
