This popular program is presented by TNI friend and naturalist, Mr. Paul Shetley. Shetley will lead a presentation about his experience with amphibians and participants will learn how to identify them by their sounds and key features.
Afterwards, guests will take a short walk to one of our ponds or sinkholes to catch and release leopard frogs, American toads and other amphibians. It is suggested for attendees to bring a flashlight, waders (or extra shoes) and a camera.
This event is open to participates 5 years old and above. Tickets are $3 per person. The program is limited to 30 people. Reservations should be made before Friday, March 27 by calling (618) 466-9930 or emailing info@thenatureinstitute.org.
