Noon - 10 pm Parking lot across the street from Olive Oil Marketplace & next to New Frontiers Furnishings, West 3rd Street, downtown Alton Head to Downtown Alton for the "hottest" event of the fall -- the Downtown Alton Chili Cook-Off. Local chili experts will compete for the honor of "Best Chili" and the coveted "People's Choice" awards. Visitors can view and purchase the creations of local artists and enjoy a craft beer and wine tasting event during the event.
