The Nature Institute is offering scholarships up to $500 to current college students within the LCCC district or to high school seniors graduating from one of the following schools: Alton, Civic Memorial, East Alton-Wood River, Jerseyville, Marquette Catholic and Roxana. Preference will be given to students majoring in Environmental Science, Forestry, Natural Resources, Education, Agriculture or similar fields. Top consideration will be given to current or former TNI camp counselors or stewardship staff and children or grandchildren of TNI members.
Interested individuals should download a application here to and follow the instructions for submitting their essay. Applications and essays are due Friday, April 25th.
