Local Food Matters 2014: Join us as we explore and engage in food related issues this year. Together, we can make a great difference in our community and in our environment.
Our first offering - Food-related film screenings. Free community event, sponsored by The Crisis Food Center, the Sierra Club, and La Vista Ecological Learning Center.
The public is invited to view “A Place at the Table,” which won the International Documentary Association Award in 2012; and “The Shrimp,” a meditative documentary short. Meet from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free. Locally-sourced refreshments and drinks available to share. No R.S.V.P. necessary.
