We are excited to host the 3nd annual Riverbend Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 12th from noon to 6 p.m.
This event will be held, rain or shine, at Great Rivers Land Trust's Piasa Harbor property, located on Route 100/Great River Road.
Partnering with the Sierra Club, Great Rivers Land Trust, National Great Rivers Research and Education Center/LCCC, and the Green Buisness Alliance, The Nature Institute will again bring the Riverbend community together for this celebration of nature, music, food, and the arts.
The festival grounds will be larger this year, which means more activities for attendees. Guests can enjoy live music (open jam so bring your instruments), paddling, fishing, disc golf, hiking, informational booths on local nature, hands-on workshops for kids and adults, arts and crafts, electronic and plastic pot recycling, a clothing swap and textile collections, tree planting, food and beverage from local vendors, and much more! Please help us spread the word about the Festival by encouraging your friends and family to attend.
The Nature Institute is currently accepting registration for vendor booths. A range of sponsorship levels for the event are available to interested vendors, organizations, and businesses. For more information on sponsorship or to request a vendor/participant registration form, please contact TNI at (618) 466-9930 or info@thenatureinstitute.org by Friday, April 4th.
This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public.
