Classes will begin on Sunday, February 23rd at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and on Wednesday, February 26th 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kate Riney started practicing yoga about 10 years ago. She took teacher training in 2011-2012 and has been teaching yoga since the fall of 2011. She currently teaches at Nautilus in Alton, as well as outdoor park classes when weather permits. Kate has had the opportunity to teach at many great places in the area, including the YWCA of Alton and Be Well Now. One of the most special groups that she teaches is incarcerated youth. She believes that yoga is for everyone-every age, every body type, and for every ability. Yoga can be healing, it can be challenging, and offers so much to those who practice it.
