What: 2016 Regional High School Art Exhibition Awards Ceremony
When: April 24, 2016, 6:00-8:00pm
Where: Jacoby Arts Center, 627 East Broadway, Alton, IL 62002
An impressive array of talent is on view in the 2016 Regional High School Art Exhibition, featuring students from Alton High School, Civic Memorial High School, East Alton - Wood River High School, East St. Louis High School, Edwardsville High School, Marquette High School, and Southwestern High School.
Photography, painting, ceramics, found object sculpture, textile and fashion design are among the media displaying creative and technical mastery. Awards have been designated by this year’s judges, professional artists Linda Vredeveld and Eric Shultis.
A public reception and awards ceremony for participating student artists, friends and family will be held on Sunday, April 24th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Jacoby Arts Center. This event is free and all are welcome.
