There will be a book signing by B.L. Chappell at Second Round Reading Room at 16 E. Broadway on Saturday April 23, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

B.L. Chappell is a new author who has written a book about a haunted house that once lived in Alton, IL. during the 1960's. This book also includes a little of Alton's history during that period.

1109 Adams Court is about the hauntings of this home that sat in the Hunters division of Alton. Its hauntings were felt and seen by the females that lived there. The little girl that lived there was its main focus for the period of time that she lived there.

This book has been described as an "easy read". Those who have read the book have said they do not normally read but this book was "easy to read and didn't take too much time to complete".
