About this event

Photographing nature, and wildflowers in particular, is both a fun and sometimes a challenging endeavor. The fun part is capturing bright and colorful subject matter and having the opportunity to see the world up close and personal. the challenge is getting sharp and in focus photographs.

The workshop will cover:
Your camera basics: ISO, shutter speeds, aperture, white balance, camera modes, controlling unwanted camera vibration and working up close with your zoom lens.
A complete discussion of controlling depth of field, creating soft focus images and controlling image sharpness and contrast.
Using camera accessories such as tripods, flash, polarizing filters to improve your photography.
Turing your digital files into impressive display photographs.
