This event is designed to highlight the Salvation Army's service to the homeless by providing a simple meal & "tin cup" souvenir. We will be inviting the community to come and "break bread" with their neighbor and our lunch tables will be filled with members of the community and those who are presently homeless and/or persons who recently received services from the Salvation Army.
Your admission to this event of $20 will provide lunch for you and one of the Army's guests.
Reservations may be made by calling the Alton Corps Office at 618-465-7764 and talking to Melissa.
We are also encouraging our community guests to bring some personal hygiene items (Soap, Shampoo, Toothpaste & Toothbrushes, and Deodorant) with them which we will package and distribute as needed.
