E.S.C.A.P.E. to tour Historic Churches of St. Louis
You’re invited to tour several historic churches in St. Louis. We will stop by Trinity Luthern Church in Soulard. This church was founded in 1839. Next we will go to Christ Church Cathedral which had its first Episcopal service in 1867. It has many stained glass windows and stone reredos. We will have lunch at Lorenzo’s Trattoria on The Hill. After lunch we will stop at the Basilica of St. Louis the King (The new Cathedral). Our final stop will be St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church (the ‘Rock’ church). This is the first big stone church in St. Louis and also had many stained glass windows.
