January 2nd – Meal Time Collage
on January 2nd – Meal Time Collage

Students will create a paper collage of a delicious meal using painted and cut paper. Students will weave a paper placement and then construct a meal on top.

Students will create a mixed media portrait of a penguin using materials of their choice.

January 16th – Accordian Book

Students will create an accordion book using different media techniques on each page. The pages will be punched and tied together to create a display book.

January 23rd – Felted Snakes

Students will wet felt cute and soft snakes using wool, soap, and water.

January 30th – Paper Machet Pets
on January 30th – Paper Machet Pets

Students will create a sculpture of one of their own or an imaginary pet. We will create an armature using pipe cleaner and aluminum foil and cover it with paper mache.
