TODAY is the deadline to sign up for The Next Big Thing

Youth in grades 5-8 are invited to attend The Next Big Thing, a University of Illinois Extension workshop that provides a fun and educational way for youth to discover what it takes to develop The Next Big Thing.  Students will create a prototype of their invention, create a business plan, develop a marketing strategy, make a commercial and encounter the unexpected.

Sponsored by Carrollton Bank, the workshop is Jan. 25, 27 and 28 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Jacoby Arts Center, 627 E. Broadway, Alton, IL.  The cost is $15 and the registration deadline is Jan. 15.   Space is limited.
