Don't be Afraid to be Scared this Halloween! Saturday, October 31st starting at 8pm: The STLPRS will present its Dark St. Louis Seminar at the Lemp Grand Hall. Come hear noted lectures talk about the darker side of the paranormal.
The cost is $20 per/person in Advance or $25 per/person at the Door.
Lecturers and Topics are: --Norah Baker M.D: Will discuss the possibility of an Actual Zombie Apocalypse Pandemic and what diseases actually exist that can mimic a Walking Dead Scenario, and how such a pandemic would spread. --Ginger Justus: Ginger will give the Darker Side of Missouri History and the Hauntings that these tragic historical events have created. --Doug Schneider: Doug will tell you of the Darker Side of St. Louis History and why St. Louis is one of the most haunted cities in the world. --Jennifer Nolan: A Local Anthropologist and Professor will discuss how the paranormal is viewed by different cultures.
After the lectures a Midnight Halloween Spirit Communication Session/Seance will be held by noted Psychic Medium Rivka Burns. Few people realize the dark history of the Lemp Grand Hall and the Cemetery that it is built upon. Madam Rivka will attempt to communicate with these spirits. Cost is $20 to Participate in the Session and $10 to Observe. Ghost hunting equipment will be allowed during the Séance.
